The Legion is a non-profit, dues-supported, organization for Canadian veterans with over 358,000 members.
The Annual Poppy Campaign, Conducted each year for about 2 weeks prior to November 11th, reminds Canadians of the
117,000 men and women who gave their lives in the wars and military missions around the world. Poppy funds collected are used
for assistance to veterans, ex-service members and their families who are in need.
The Legion also supports programs
for Cadets, Guides and Scouts, seniors, housing, Long Term Care, youth, education and sports.
